 Below are some  completed projects. This list is by no means exhaustive.

 ·         Product Tracking QA System.

This was a very large real time database running under Windows 2000 server and using advanced features in SQL and Access to achieve the data ‘views’ that the client wanted. The system spread over many PC’s as well as PLC’s throughout the plant. Data is processed through SQL queries then presented as either ‘exception’ or summary data on screens or on reports.

·         Garbage Collection Round

This system was written totally in visual basic but uses an access database.  Data has to be imported from an existing system with seamless changeover. Data also had to be imported from another system running Quickbooks. The resultant system had to be multi-user and do everything the original system did:-

1. Schedule rounds by pickup order, and desired frequency (e.g. weekly, fortnightly, monthly etc.)

2. Bill customers via several different billing systems (in advance , in arrears etc)

3. Handle casual (on demand) customers.

4. Track customer payments.

5. Produce bank deposit slips.

·         Nut Marketing System

Written totally in Microsoft Access, this system tracks containers and the associated paperwork for a US based nut exporting company. The starting point for this project was a partly completed system. The system was streamlined to work the way the client wanted it to work. This project was done entirely in New Zealand for a Californian based client.  

·         Accounting System for a Forestry Consultant

A user friendly system to run a forestry consulting business. The system handled the usual business activities such as sales, invoicing, GST etc. but also handled specific tasks associated with a consultancy. (Written in MS Access) 

·         Time Tracking System for an Architectural Company

This system tracks individual time of projects so that project progress can be compared to budget. Time spend is viewed in several ways to establish trends for predicting future contracts. (Written in MS Access) 

·         Project Quoting and Invoicing for a Building Business

Quotes are turned directly into invoices in this business application. Other common business needs such as expense tracking, GST, banking etc are included.   (Written in MS Access) 

·         Medical Clinic and Laboratory Program

Developed in Microsoft Access, this system links with other lab components, to automate lab tests, patient history, and billing. In this case the client developed the outline for the project and I got it up and running, adding features only possible through Visual Basic

·         X-ray Clinic  Program

Developed in Microsoft Access, this system keeps track of where X-rays are, whom they belong to and billing.
